Some people love to say AI won’t have any real-world impact, but AI keeps proving them wrong. Take Earth AI, for example, which just secured $20M to revolutionize mineral discovery. Using AI to locate metal deposits more efficiently, they’re helping drive a cheaper, more abundant, low-carbon future—a game-changer for sustainable energy.

Deep diving into DeepSeek 3

Anthropic founder Dario Amodei wrote an excellent essay on how he sees AI scaling in the future. According to Dario DeepSeek-V3, it is not a unique breakthrough or something that fundamentally changes the economics of LLMs; it’s an expected point in an ongoing cost reduction curve. What’s different this time is that the company first demonstrated the anticipated cost reductions in Chinese. This has never happened before and is geopolitically significant.
